'Luminous Beauty II' is the third work in this series. 
Both this work and its counterpart - 'Dark Beauty', were painted from images I created, by photographing the plant, first in the dark and then this image was taken looking into the afternoon sun. I was amazed by the incredible colours which became revealed as the late afternoon sun shone through the leaves, highlighting a glowing array of rich violets and striking magentas, bordered by luminous yellow golds.
