There are two important aspects to this work. This series is based on the Krystal Spiral which is an underpinning construct to all my recent work. It vibrates at a higher energy level than the Golden Mean, which many Renaissance paintings are based on. By utilizing this quantum field structure in the work, I lock that energy into the painting and thus help to raise the energy and consciousness on the planet to a higher level. Even if a viewer doesn't under the science beneath the work, the embodiment of this loving vibration will still affect them subconsciously. This may be experienced as peace, an uplifting of one's spirits or a subtle sense of happiness while interacting with the work, perhaps a 'something' you can't quite put your finger on.

Here I am placing the stencil pattern, ready to fill in with a special gold paint.
This image shows the still wet acrylic paint just after I dropped the white alcohol ink into it.
You can now see the gold paint stencil image, which I ended up painting over with a cream coloured paint as it was too bright. Also there is scattered gold leaf in the lower righthand corner.
I believe that the vibrational resonance of the artist affects the work, which in turn affects the viewer. The latest research in quantum physics, tells us that we live in an interconnected matrix at the quantum level and all things are interconnected, even when not physically adjacent to each other.
It is part of my art practice to bring this higher energetic resonance into the work I begin with a powerful 'River of Light' meditation before I paint, meditating on the Krystal Spiral itself and calling in those higher energies to help me create the works. In this way, the work then embodies these higher frequencies. I am a conduit for them to manifest in this 3rd dimensional realm.
This painting works well with several different types of décor.
The second aspect of the work highlights one of the world's critically endangered species. In this case, it is an Australian parrot called the Orange-bellied Parrot. Fewer than fifty of them remain in the wild. The bird is flying within the Krystal matrix of life, however, he is semi-translucent - indicating that he is fading from our worldview. In these works, I am endeavouring to give a sense of the interdimensional reality and the interconnectedness of all things.
When we lose even a small beautiful being such as the Orange Bellied Parrot from our world, its energy and resonance no longer grace our planet. It is a great loss gone, never to be recovered.
This aspect of the painting is more than just a representation of a bird; it's a testament to the importance of preserving our natural heritage for future generations.
The work challenges us to, recognize our responsibility as stewards of the environment and to take concrete steps towards safeguarding the diverse and irreplaceable tapestry of life on our planet.
