Mountain's Secret developed from a much larger artwork, 'A Road Less Travelled.' If you look at all the works in this series you will see a progression in the development of the images. The work has grew to contain more graphic elements and I also  strove to incorporate a lyrical sense of movement in the way the paint was applied to the canvas. My intent was to give a sense of the land almost being alive in order to convey the feeling of this place, which in real life has a very special energy to it.
This smaller work then developed as I continued to work with those elements.
