There are many stores which sell cheap art supplies these days, here is a list of some of them:

The more expensive paints are to be found on the Central Coast at Eckersleys.

Then, of course, there are the online stores. The first of these is Parkers, at the Rocks in Sydney.  This is the oldest art store in Sydney and has the biggest range of art materials.
