It is only recently that I have begun a foray into abstract work.  I am finding this to be a natural extension to my aims as an artist.

For some time now I have been attempting to imbue my work with with a subtle influence based on the higher vibrations of peace, beauty, and love. This was mainly in, although not limited to, my floral works.

I was experimenting with the flow and texture of the paint and the enhancing colours of the work. However being limited to a specific form, didn't allow me to express these feelings fully.

This is where abstraction comes in.  It allows for a fuller exploration of the emotions as they can be expressed in paint.
