Flowers have long been one of my favourite things. That is what comes of growing up with parents who were avid gardeners.
I fondly recall mums glorious rose bed, with climbing roses and a great variety of different coloured blooms complete with heady fragrances filling the summer air.
I have a very modest rose bed compared to hers and this is one ofo the lovely flowers that bloomed late this Autumn. Not only does it have a gorgeous array of rich and subtle pinks but it has an intoxicating perfume to match. If only I could remember what it is called.......
