No More Mud - Colour Mixing Workshop I 

This workshop covers the basic nuts and bolts of colour mixing. If you are new to art, it is a MUST DO workshop and will save you hours of anxt and gallons of paint. 

 

What You Will Learn:

1. The importance of a Double Primary Colour Wheel.

2. The mechanics of how we see colour including; why colour behaves the way it does, and how light behaves when it         hits black or white surfaces.

3. Do things have  an inherent colour?

4. What happens when we mix Primary Colours together.

5. What happens when we combine different colour combinations in the double Primary System to create Secondary colours.

6. The importance of Value.

7. How to mix a Grey Scale.

8. How to mix Tints and Shades and Tones.

9. What do The Colour Terms; Hue, Value, Chroma, Tone, Tint and Shade mean?

TIME: The workshop is from 8.50 am for a 9 am start, until—5pm. It is a full day so you will need to bring lunch.  Morning and afternoon tea are provided.
